A BNSF Boomer...

A "Boomer", in railroadspeak, is an employee who has migrated from railroad to railroad.

BNSF GP39-2 #2810 certainly qualifies. It was built in the early 1960s as GP30 #239 for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois, then worked subsequently as Louisville & Nashville #1058 and Seaboard System #1389 before coming to the Burlington Northern as GP39M 2810.

The classic EMD is shown in yard service at Vancouver, Wash.

Railroad: BNSF.
