The "Last Vestige" of the B&MLRR's 1946 Engine House in the railroad's former main yard in Belfast, ME, are these large chunks of concrete from the "pit" in the two bay engine house's floor which demolition workers have made into an makeshift Mexican "Sombrero Man" sculpture. The rails from the edge of the pit are seen on the ground next to the "statue" with a single bay engine shed behind it. With the demolition of the engine house on June 21, 2011, the site was then without such a structure for the first time since 1870.
