"Coast Starlight" #11 is less than an hour into its trek from Seattle to Los Angeles as it splits the signals at CP Pioneer on the southwest side of Tacoma, Wash,

P42-9DCs #91 and #9 have an 11-car train in tow as they skirt Puget Sound. The Chambers Creek lift bridge is visible to the left of the tree; in a few minutes, the train will have reached the town of Steilacoom, in the far right background.
