A BNSF Seattle-to-Pasco manifest is cruising along Chambers Bay southwest of Tacoma, Wash. in this view from the overlook at the top of the Central Meadow park area.

Chambers Bay Properties, which owns and operates the Chambers Bay golf course, maintains the park area. The pedestrian overpass in the background spans the BNSF Seattle Sub to reach the adjacent beach.

The Chambers Bay golf complex hosted the U.S. Open, one of the sport's four major men's tournaments, in June 2015. Passing trains provided some of the distinctive backdrops during the tournament's television coverage.
