Union Pacific 4-8-4 #844 is easing down the bypass track at Albina Yard in Portland, Ore. as it prepares to couple onto the "Portland Rose" special.

The famous Northern and its 18-car train will spend three days at the Pendleton, Ore. Roundup on its way home to Cheyenne, Wyo.
