Union Pacific 4-8-4 #844, auxiliary tender #814 "Joe Jordan", SD70ACe #8444 and express boxcar #9336 have just arrived at Albina Yard in Portland, Ore. with the "Portland Rose" special in this view from Overlook Park in north Portland.

The famous Northern and its train will head back east on Sep. 15 and spend three days in Pendleton for the Pendleton Roundup centennial before returning to Cheyenne.
