Union Pacific AC45CCTE #5595 is the distributed power unit (DPU) on the rear of a westbound manifest passing the old depot in Pendleton, Ore.

Union Pacific routinely adds DPUs to most of its trains, usually in groups of one or two depending on the type and size of train.
