From the Stone Age to the 21st Century -- Fisherman's Lane Schaghticoke NY

After an earlier track block to finish installing crossing timbers, the brand new Fisherman's Lane re-hab project looks complete. Financed under a program grant by NY State DOT for grade crossing upgrades, the project is graced by the PanAm Southern's eastbound RJ-1 on late Thursday afternoon August 04. Many will remember that this is the location where the neighboring farmer and his load of corn got "plowed" by an eastbound NS engine in January of 2014 -- fortunately with no major injuries for any of those involved.
