New York & Lake Erie RR: Dayton Jct, NYOn October 8, 1985, I rode a day long excursion with my grandparents on the New York & Lake Erie RR. #1013 pulled the train from Gowanda to South Dayton. Back to Dayton Jct. and then down the Salamanca branch to Cattaraugus.
Backing up the new connecting track to the Erie's Salamanca-Dunkirk Line. The train had 7 coaches and an open-air flat car where I probably spent most of my time.
