D&H Apollo eb on the Portage Bridge

It's May of 1976 and D&H trackage right over what is now Conrail's ex-EL Buffalo line have been in place for several weeks. An ex-RDG GP39-2 leads a pair of 2 month old lightning striped GP39-2s heading up the N&W/D&H Apollo pig train east across the old Erie trestle over the Genesee River at Letchworth Gorge in upstate NY
