Kansas City Southern ES44AC #4711 and a sister GE lead a northbound intermodal train past Sunset Station, the former Southern Pacific depot in San Antonio, Texas.

KCS trains detoured on Union Pacific through San Antonio after heavy rains in the Houston area closed the railroad's regular route through Victoria. The trains returned to KCS rails at Robstown, west of Corpus Christi, before heading west to the Mexican border at Laredo.

The building in the background is the Alamodome sports arena.
