Warbonnet, Interrupted...

BNSF C44-9W #783 still wears the classic "Warbonnet" color scheme of original owner Santa Fe, but with a minor interruption in the form of two hood doors taken from a sister unit in the BNSF Heritage II colors.

The unit was leading a unit autorack train coming out of the Port of Portland with two other BNSF GEs and a Citirail lease unit. It is shown stopped at the Vancouver, Wash. Amtrak station to pick up a road crew.
