Hi Ho Silverliner, Away...

SEPTA Silverliner IV #344 and a sister are accelerating away from the Hatboro, Pa. station on the way to downtown Philadelphia. The route is SEPTA's Warminster Line.

This was once Reading's New Hope branch. SEPTA owns the line as far as Ivyland; the outer end of the branch has been the New Hope & Ivyland RR since the mid-1960s.

Freight service on the line, including the connection with the NH&I, is contracted to Pennsylvania Northeastern, which operates on a cluster of SEPTA branches out of nearby Lansdale.
