488 at the Carlton Bridge

488 passes Bath Iron Works. Originally opened in 1884, BIW is a shipyard on the Kennebec in Bath that mostly builds vessels for the navy. Note the destroyer under construction in the distance. You always know you're getting near Bath, Maine when you see start to see the cranes as you drive in on Route 1.
