488 at Maine Street

Nothings screams Brunswick more than the First Parish Church. Established in 1717, it was the church of writer Harriet Beecher Stowe and Civil War General Joshua Chamberlain; I'd argue that it's the most recognizable landmark of Brunswick. Here 488 leads the evening westbound passenger train across Maine Street and by the church and a median strip decorated nicely with flowers.
