CENTRAL VERMONT STEAM AT BRATTLEBORO

During a May 1954 fan trip to Brattleboro from Boston via Willimantic, M-3a 2-8-0 454 is in front of an N-5a 2-8-0 and a P-1a 0-8-0 at the Brattleboro,VT roundhouse. I was really impressed with the Coffin feedwater heater on 454 but my non-adjustable Kodak wasn't much help in recording it especially because I didn't have the filter that might have captured the steam against the sky..

Photographed by Edward Ozog, May 2, 1954.
