This passenger car belonged to the Pennsylvania Coal Company Gravity RR and is now on public display in Hawley, PA. The PCC was constructed in 1850 between Scranton, PA and Hawley. It was abandoned in 1885 when it was replaced by a "steam powered" railroad that eventually became the Erie Railroad's Wyoming Division. The track in the background belongs to the Stourbridge Railroad. A second passenger car from the PCC is housed in the Wayne County Historical Society Museum, located in Honesdale, PA. The photograph was taken on Saturday, 12/06/08.
