Railroad Parking...or Railroad future use?

Hello, this view is from my car at the site of Water Stree4t crossing the rail bed in Downtown, Augusta, Me. The City covered these tracks downtown a few years ago to make space for parking. Maine Eastern is Currently Leasing this line from the State of Maine. It has been said that when the Amtrak Downeaster comes to brunswick in the near future, Maine Eastern wnats to run a passenger train from Bruswick to Augusta. This would make it possible to leave Augusta, catch a Southbound Downeaster to Boston and Back. Trainriders Northeast said when the Downeaster comes to Brunswick it will make 2 trips per day. It would be nice to see a train come under this overpass again and into Augusta the State Capitol that likes to bury Railroad tracks. Beleve it or not where I am paked just under me is double tracks and just under this bridge abour 50ft ahead is brand new track and ties with a new switch and siding, what a waste. Camera phone.
