O&W Station at Middletown, NY

This station on Wickham Ave. also housed the O&W's corporate offices until the line shut down in 1957. Several businesses used the station over the years after the O&W was abandoned. However, a devastating fire ravaged the station in early 2004 and the building's future is now VERY uncertain. The moribund track passing in front of the station is used a few times a week by Norfolk Southern to interchange cars with the Middletown & New Jersey, and is one of the very few segments of the O&W still in service.
