CP Rail in New Brunswick.......Gone, not forgotten

Extra CP 8737 North, with RS-18's 8737, 1826, and 8780, is at Douglas N.B., just outside Fredericton, on the Gibson Sub. The train is passing a siding where crush rock stone ballast was once loaded, primarily destined for CP'S St. John-Montreal line. This portion of the Gibson branch saw little, if any, stone ballast.....the rail here is 80 to 85 lb.

The last train over this line was November 29th,1993...13 years from today's date
