CN in New Brunswick.......running over CP Tracks

Xtra CN 3111 North, has three covered hoppers of flour in tow as it is exactly at MP 57 of CP Rail's Gibson Sub., at Fredericton, N.B. The train is powered by RS-18 # 3111 and has travelled two miles from the CN terminal of South Devon.

CN had running rights over the CP line to reach its own terminal at Woodstock N.B. and by this time, that was down to once per week service. The last CN train over this branch was March 26,1987.

Photographed by Brian Barchard, April 3, 1986.
Added to the photo archive by Brian Barchard, November 20, 2006.
