Rail display.

An interesting photo of a rail display showing the different profiles of trolley rail used, circa 1910. The display was made up by the Middlesex & Boston Street Railway Company, a company whose last streetcars ran in 1930 in the western suburbs of Boston. They built Norumbega Park, a great amusement park which closed in 1964, to attract ridership.

Photographed by Paul Joyce, August, 1977.
Added to the photo archive by Paul Joyce, June 14, 2006.
