Providence bound.

An Amtrak EMD E9A diesel-electric pulls its six-car consist southerly from South Station to Providence, Rhode Island on Track # 3. It has just passed through Forest Hills and is about to go under the Toll Gate Bridge in Roslindale. Over the years, the ROW has been used by many roads, including the Boston and Providence, New Haven, Penn Central, Conrail, Amtrak, and the MBTA. A pre-cab signals, old semaphore tower is to the left. To the right, we can see Tower H and the Forest Hills MBTA yard.
