While I was waiting at the US 5 overpass just north of Newbury to capture VTR 201 leading NPWJ south, the chatter on the scanner indicated that plan “A” was scrapped. Driving up US 5 I came upon this scene just north of MP 3. I was unable to get an exact count but it appeared to be 4 cars flipped which are out of the shot, this is the best image I could get as an off duty officer had just arrived and was keeping people away from the scene.
