The rear end of the Talgo was as exotic as the head end.
Sometimes when I went down to the Providence station, it was simply to sit on a railway express or a baggage cart to watch the trains go by. Such was the case on this July day. A NYNH&H railroader I had come to know asked me if I had my camera with me because there was a special coming through. I scurried home at 132 Benefit Street, grabbed the camera - which had film in it - and buzzed back down to the station in time. I was sweating like a pig, but I got these two photos. I could have shot some more frames, but I didn't see the need. I saw the railroader after the extra departed and thank him for his tip.
