Another "Gem in the rough" 1

Here's a sight for ALCO nuts! RS-3 529 moving around the Essex yard with FA-1 0401. The 0401 had just gotten a quicky "broom job" painting in preparation for an upcoming Railfan's weekend. but was not operable except for m.u. controlling. One of less than a handfull of
FA-1's still extant, the 0401 was part of the New Haven's first A-B-A set of ALCO cabs-0400/0450/0401.
