Another U-boat is inside the Georgia Central's enginehouse in Lyons, Ga. GC began operations between Savannah and Vidalia, Vidalia and Macon and Vidalia and Rhine, Ga. on November 21, 1990, but quit the Vidalia-Rhine line two years later, then sold it to the Georgia DOT. The sate agency later leased the route to Heart of Georgia Railroad.
