Two in the barn

A conductor walks up the ramp inside the Boston Acela repair facility heading for either the Acela 2004-2005 express train being worked on, at left on track 4, or the brand-new HHP-8 659 on track 5. This was before all the yaw damper problems and truck assembly cracks began to appear a few months later after the trains were in service. Amtrak and builder Bombardier shook hands after their problems on the railroad and in federal court were resolved in spring 2004.
