Noses

Shakespeare asked, "What's in a name," but I ask, "What's in a nose - especially on a locomotive?" The 245, 952 and 943 are juxtaposed to present a visual reply to that question. They were lined up briefly on the west end of Amtrak's maintenance facility in Southampton Street Yard, Boston, in September 2000.
