Famed Southern Pacific GS-4 "Daylight" 4449 is on display at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center for the center's National Train Day 2025. The big-4-8-4 is owned by the city of Portland and has called the OHRC home since its opening in 2012. It was displayed at the city's Oaks Park from 1957 to 1974 before becoming the steam star of the 1975-1976 American Freedom Train.
