A close-up of the former Sleeper River LVRC bridge. I had tried to find this bridge for years. I didn't realize it was right off of Rt 5 in St Johnsbury. This used to be a spindly wooden trestle that was replaced when the LVRC mainline was rebuilt in the late 1970s.

A good pic of the wooden trestle is in Ron Johnson's "NH and VT Railroads" book on pg. 52
