MEC 7518 by Spit Brook Road in Nashua

From March 25,2020, here was an empty coal train tied down by Spit Brook Road in Nashua. MEC 7518s & 7627n were the pullers. Empty coal trains would occasionally tie down here to be south and clear of Nashua yard. This was the 9th coal train out of 16 that began service to Bow in November 2019 and ended in June 2020.

MEC 7518 is now BERX 7518 with a patch over the side Pan Am lettering, though the meatball logo lives. MEC 7627 was repainted and renumbered to CSXT 9280. So far 9280 is the only formerly owned CSX, and MEC labeled C40-8 to rejoin the CSX ranks.
