Erie Lackawanna eb freight west of Owego - 1

A pair of consecutively numbered SDP45s leads a manifest east on the west side of Owego. Hard to tell but it looks like the red tractors are Farmalls manufactured at Rock Island, IL which were interchanged to the EL by the namesake railroad at Chicago.

Photographed by John Barlow, 1970.
Added to the photo archive by John Barlow, January 27, 2024.
Railroad: Erie Lackawanna.
