Who could have guessed back before CSX acquired PAR that this 109 year old one time N&W diner would be drafted for duty by new owner CSX to become Santa's sleigh? Waycross shop forces at CSX made significant modifications to ST 100 according to Trains Magazine "The interior of the car was completely gutted to hold gifts. Two large baggage-type doors were installed on the “B” end to speed loading and unloading..." ST 100 now has a well deserved ceremonial role in its semi-retirement.
