E8A 938 and E8B 925 pull six cars of UP's train 111 the City of Denver arriving at Julesburg CO at around 0830 for its 1 minute stop. Denver is 197 miles distant and 111 is scheduled to be there in 3.5 hours with 3 more intermediate stops - avg speed 56 mph. In the summer of 1970, train 111 originated at North Platte adding a few through coaches from wb UP train #103, unofficially the City of Everywhere out of Chicago, to a baggage and cafe-lounge car.
