On my way through Greenwich Jct NY yesterday this locomotive somehow managed to stand out from the fall foliage. Maybe it was just the sheer amount of bright yellow paint. Maybe it was the contrast with all the blue container car’s parked all over the wye.
SC&H (Saratoga Corinth & Hudson) 3501 was coupled to loaded side dump car MEC 1040.
