These are passenger locos, pre-Amtrak . Maybe that explains the apparent lack of MU jacks . Or,maybe it's hiding on the right side of the couplert? These were put into frerght service when Amtrak came along. Im guessing the traction motors were regeared for midrange torque instead of speed ? Maybe MU recepticles were added then ?
