VIA Bras d'Or broken down in Nova Scotia

My parents rode VIA's weekly summertime Bras d'Or excursion train between Halifax and Sydney NS in 2004 but unfortunately the F40PH broke down and had to be rescued by a Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia ex-BN GP50. Not sure what the status of this traffic deprived line on Cape Breton Island is these days.

Photographed by John Barlow, 2004.

Railroad: VIA.
