In the final hour or so of sunlight; L054 with MEC 5958 - MEC 307 and just over thirty cars for Rumford cross the second grade crossing over Laplante Rd. in Canton, Maine while the middle o their train cam be seen going through the large curve in the left center of the frame.

This train would tie down for the night at Dixfield and continue to Rumford the next morning.
