Afternoon Westbound

CSX local L053 with a pair of MEC lettered C40-8's makes good time west from Leeds Junction with a decent sized train of mostly loads from the Rumford Branch.

They are seen exiting what was once MEC's Back Road, now CPF-185 of the Freight Main, although soon to change once CSX's new timetable eventually goes into effect.

The new change in operation in handling the Rumford traffic has resulted in some nice photo opportunities as there are two locals; L054 which mostly stays on the Rumford Branch and L053, which sort of acts as a transfer run carrying traffic between Rigby and Danville and/or Leeds, both locals running in daylight hours.

Power and consist is MEC 7523 - MEC 7594 and about 45 cars.
