Bellows Falls.

Many a trip to Steam town would be started here with a hearty Miss Bellows Falls breakfast. Note the back end of a Chevy Step side sticking out past the Diner, that was my "Old Red". Is the Diner still in business, would be worth the ride up there just to have one more breakfast.

Never heard much about Bellows Falls, although I do recall something about making long distance calls via "the Bellows Falls Operator". After Steamtown moved in it became an oft visited magical railroad mecca. Good to have captured some of the old Bellows Falls "infrastructure" here,

Back in 1960, and for quite a few years, after we moved to the states we would make trips back and forth between Leicester and Montreal thru Bellows Fall. When Blount began building up his collection of mostly Canadian engines I liked to go to Steam Town to see the old CNR power. My people worked for CNR and Grand Trunk, great memories.
