Snow Bus

This is the "Blizzard Bus", a former Chicago & North Western gallery car now used by Union Pacific for its Portland Service Unit. The coach and its accompanying boxcar are used to shuttle train crews and equipment to and from the Columbia River Gorge when winter snow and ice shut down adjacent Interstate 84. It is shown at the Fir passing siding in northeast Portland.
