The Vermont Bicentennial Steam Expedition

Rolling north near Castleton, VT. Engine 1293, class G5d Pacific, was built in June 1948 for the Canadian Pacific railroad. Having served only 11 years it was retired with the coming of Diesels. In 1964 it was purchased by F. Nelson Blount for use in the Steamtown operations at Bellows Falls, VT.
