NA-2 383 by Garvin Falls in Bow

Here was CSX's NA-2 Crew taking 383 with roughly 18 loaded cars and one empty scrap car towards Concord. The two green covered hoppers were set off at Bow Blue Seal. Here they were passing the Garvin Falls Hydro Electric Plant in Bow.

Last time MEC 383 was here in 2014, it was Pan Am leased power GMTX 3105, so it's been a long while. 383 was once owned by CSX, and now owned again, It's last work for CSX was in their MOW fleet, with their orange paint scheme as CSXT 9717. It was sold off to LLPX renumbered to 3105, (LLPX was owned by both GATX and EMD at the time.) then GATX solely owned GMTX 3105. Pan Am wound up with ownership of 3105 sometime in 2017. That blue & white paint job is a little over 12 years old. 383 was built new for the B&O in 9/1971 as #4012.

Always great to see power that has not been around here in a while.
