Rail Removal...

Sections of rail was removed in Downtown Augusta just recently! This line is known as the Lower road will be studied this Summer and fall for the future use of the Amtrak Downeaster. Also this line can be used to ship freight faster to Brunswick/Portland and beyond. Will updated when I find out more, most of the times when "some" rail is removed it's because its need somewhere else on the line, Believe it or not thought the weeds and broken rails their is a train that travels this line about 3 times a week! To Business further up the Line.
