Erie-Lackawanna GP-35 #2564 is a guest at B&M's East Somerville roundhouse on this night. B&M and E-L were pooling power on piggyback trains. Both railroads were trying to remain financially solvent by innovating services, but both would be bankrupt by 1972, the B&M first in 1970 and the Erie-Lackawanna succumbing after disastrous floods from Hurricane Agnes.
