Ghosts of Roundhouses Past

Newly "blue dipped" B&M F7A #4268 idles away at the East Somerville roundhouse on a December night in 1967. A former EMD demonstrator unit, this engine got to see the country. Fortunately it was saved from the scrapper by a private individual and has been restored by Conway Scenic. (I wonder who turned the headlight on for this portrait)?

Photographed by Ron DeFilippo, December, 1967.
