PRR Freight at Princeton Jct Behind P5A'sA pair of PRR P5A boxcabs lead an eastbound PRR freight through Princeton Jct,, NJ on the same day that produced the sequence of GG1 photos I post last week. I do not believe there were many, if any, grade crossings along this line, so the cab of a P5A boxcab was not as unsafe a place to be as on lines with grade crossings. The P5A's with center (steeple) cabs and eventually the GG1's were a reaction to a fatal grade crossing accident involving a younger version of one of these P5A boxcabs.
