Hard work never stops for these guys and gals, as our Boston division of the Lake Shore wraps up our last leg of this amazing trip. The highlight of this journey for me is always the Empire Builder, what I consider to be the cream of the crop on Amtrak, with its friendly crew and service. I must conclude my postings for this day by adding that what a difference a week and a half makes, I am lucky enough to be here sharing these with you all. We were fortunate enough to randomly enjoy the service of the same Seattle based crew both directions on this amazing journey, and the Builder derailment of #27 on September 25 at Joplin, MT, has evoked my prayers and well wished to those families who lost loved ones, but also our amazing crew and the rest of the passengers. We love you and hope you are all safe and recovering quickly.
