A Prince George-North Vancouver train is crossing the Fraser River into Lillooet, BC., where it will ease on down to the depot for a crew change. At the time, in-train power was controlled by being "MUed" with a control car. On BCR, "Robots" were former MLW or FM B units, filled with the electronic and mechanical equipment to receive and translate control inputs, radioed by the head end.
